once lived in China a monaco Zen master Dori, who used to meditate perched in the branches of a pine tree by the umbrella-shaped crown. He had been nicknamed "Master Bird's Nest." One day he visited a famous poet, Sakuraten, and seeing him perched in the branches said: "Pay attention, it is dangerous, you might fall from the pine tree."
"You're wrong," Dori said the teacher "you are in danger. I practice meditation, and my spirit is perfectly stable. But you're still in the grip of passions. Writing poetry and your spirit turbine incessantly excited , anxious, tormented. "

Sakuraten mused.
"Yes, I am always in the grip of passions, is like playing with lightning," he recognized, and asked the Zen master:
"What is the true essence of Buddhism?"
The master replied:
"Do not do evil, but good practice."
The poet smiled. Anyone, even a child would be able to understand.
